Antiques Appraisal Faire

Paid parking at the S. 10th St. and E. San Fernando St. garage.

Bring your cherished antiques for verbal appraisal by Bonhams & Butterfields Auction House. Appraisers will be on hand to appraise:

• Asian Art
• Fine Art
• Furniture
• Decorative Art:
• Jewelry

Bonhams & Butterfields will accept consignments during the event.  B&B will take small items; you must ship or deliver larger items to their San Francsico offices.

Advance Tickets to this event are sold out.
Tickets purchased day of event: $20
Ticket price is per item. Limit of three items per person.

A waiting list for guests without tickets will be started on the day of the event. Guests with advance sale tickets will be seen first. We recommend guests without tickets come after 1:00 p.m. and park in the SJSU parking garage two blocks west of the Clubhouse. There is a fee for the garage.

There is a limit of three items per person and limited spaces available. All proceeds benefit the cultural and preservation initiatives of the San Jose Woman's Club, which supports the performing arts in local schools, provides scholarships for San Jose State University students and maintains its historic 1930 Clubhouse.

Please note that appraisal specialists are not available at this event for dolls, sports memorabilia, Hollywood memorabilia, arms and armor, men's watches, antiquities (ancient Greek or Roman), musical instruments, or books. 

Due to liability concerns, no assistance may be offered to guests bringing items to be appraised. If your item is heavy, you may wish to bring a friend so that you can drop your item with a friend and then park your car. For large items, such as furniture or paintings, you may bring photos of the item. When taking photos, be sure to include distinctive characteristics, such as furniture maker stamps and drawer joinery for furniture. For paintings, be sure to take a photo of the signature and the back side of the canvas.
