2015 Fifth Naglee Park Vintage Home and Garden Tour

Treasure Boutique Free and Open to All at 267 S. 14th St.
Refreshment Garden at 258 South 14th Street

SJWC's Fifth Naglee Park Vintage Home Tour includes five historic homes and three lovely gardens, a boutique of hand-made items and antiques, a chat with local historian April Halberstadt about the history of Naglee Park and General Naglee, and delightful boxed lunches served in at a lovely garden. All events occur within a few blocks. Park once and enjoy the day walking through historic Naglee Park.

All proceeds from the event are dedicated towards preserving the historic SJWC Clubhouse and expanding its capacity to meet the needs of the 21st century. Tickets are fully tax deductible.

Naglee Park Vintage Home Tour ExteriorThe San Jose Woman's Club 2015 Naglee Park Vintage Home Tour presents a rare opportunity to view five architectural gems and three lovely gardens.

All homes demonstrate the skills of their architects and builders and have retained their exterior integrity as well as many original interior fixtures. All gardens are professionally landscaped and offer a range of xeriscape concepts.

 

A delightful boxed lunch will be served at a fourth lovely garden. The boxed lunch includes a Ham and Cheese Rollup, Chicken Salad and Mini Croissant, three Belgium chocolate cookies, Fresh Fruit, and Iced Tea or Lemonade. Wine and champagne is available for a suggested donation of $5 per glass.

Be sure to purchase a tour ticket that includes the boxed lunch.

 

The Treasure Boutique, which includes vintage jewelry and hats, antiques and collectibles, linens and Motherís Day gifts, is free and open to all.

April HalberstadtNaglee Park historian April Halberstadt will speak to ticket holders about the history of Naglee Park and General Naglee at in a private garden adjoining the Treasure Boutique at 1:00 p.m. Krista Van Laan author of Frank Delos Wolfe California Prairie Architecture, will also be on hand to discuss her research and sell books.
